The Animated Series' Creator Is Aware of Your Second Season Bingo Cards — And She Has Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been intense.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other accompanied by songs about their clashes, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive audience devotion.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain themes emerge over and over: Will a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the creator stated recently. "However I believe that me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She says her long-term vision is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That might mean fans have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they could be shocked at how quickly the new season progresses, and how many of what they're waiting for happens this season.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some really amazing reveals, some really cool origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the format of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a couple people create a bingo card about the new season," she mentions. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on Prime Video on October 29.
